Senior Accountant

Job Description

Becker Pumps Americas is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced accountant who enjoys owning their work, digging into the numbers, and being part of a hands-on finance team. The Senior Accountant will have exposure across the business, with responsibility for financial reporting, month-end close, cost accounting, inventory, and process improvement.

Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Own key components of the month-end and year-end close
\n
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
\n
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
\n
• Support cost accounting and inventory control activities
\n
• Prepare daily and monthly sales and operational reporting
\n
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
\n
• Support 401(k) administration and certificate of insurance request
\n
• Support internal and external audits and maintain GAAP compliance
\n
• Process company payroll and manage related payroll procedure
\n
• Oversee electronic invoicing and assist with collection activities
\n
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and controls
\n

Requirements:

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent relevant experience
\n
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
\n
• Manufacturing accounting experience, including cost accounting and inventory
\n
• Hands-on experience processing and managing payroll
\n
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookup
\n
• Experience working within an ERP system
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
\n
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
\n
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities
\n
• Paylocity experience is a plus, but not required
