Building And Grounds Maintenance

If you like performing maintenance and being part of a great team, this position may be for you! The National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion is seeking a building and grounds maintenance person to be part of the shrine team. This position is full time (40 hours) and is responsible for providing maintenance in the care and maintenance of buildings and grounds for the National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion and assuring the grounds are pleasant and in safe operating condition.

We are seeking an individual who has 2-3 years' experience in maintenance work, a high school diploma, and a driver's license. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, have knowledge of basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, drywalling, boiler systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, be personable, and self-directed.
