Electrical Engineer

Job Roles and ResponsibilitiesDesign electrical systems for commercial buildings.Create electrical drawings and models using AutoCAD and Revit.Develop power risers, lighting plans, power floorplans, and site plans.Collaborate with engineers and project team members to develop design concepts.Ensure designs comply with applicable electrical codes and industry standards.Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.Review and modify existing electrical designs based on project requirements.Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain project components and materials.Participate in design reviews and recommend design improvements.Identify and resolve technical design issues.Maintain accuracy and consistency throughout electrical design documentation.Qualifications and CertificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.Extensive commercial construction electrical design experience required.Strong proficiency with AutoCAD for electrical design.Revit experience preferred.Strong understanding of commercial building electrical systems.Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and industry standards.Excellent attention to detail and design accuracy.Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Ability to collaborate with engineers, suppliers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders.BenefitsHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsurancePaid Time OffFlexible ScheduleHybrid Work Opportunity
