Dental Assistant

Full-Time Portable Dental Assistant Job Description Mid America Health is currently seeking a Full Time Dental Assistant to join our growing School Smiles team. This position is 5 days per week (Monday - Friday, during school hours) based out of the Lima, OH area (2-hour radius). It is a fall start with an August start date. Compensation and Benefits Hourly rate $27.00 per hour for clinic hours worked and drive time. No weekend hours. Full benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, 401(k), generous paid time off, paid holidays, flex spending, and a health savings account. Company vehicle provided, with gas and maintenance card. Active Ohio X-ray License required. Job Duties Maintain portable equipment and supplies, including the company van. Assist dentist with portable operatory setup inside schools and chairside procedures as needed. Load/unload and set up the dental operatory inside the school. Perform various administrative duties. Qualifications Current Ohio X-ray License required. Current CPR for Healthcare Providers required. 1-year Dental Assistant experience preferred. Willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius.
