Project Manager/EstimatorExpress Employment of Grand Junction is actively recruiting a Project Manager/Estimator for a long-standing Grand Junction construction company. The ideal candidate must have experience and knowledge of infrastructure before a building goes up, earthwork and utility construction. Construction Management degree preferred but not required.Duties include:Submittals and material procurementPreparation of accurate and comprehensive construction estimates by analyzing blueprints, schematics and project specifications using tools such as B2W Construction estimating softwareDevelop detailed project schedulesCoordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and employeesManage project documentation including change orders, RFI's and progress reportsMonitor job site meetings.Skills include:Strong computer skillsKnowledge of construction management software such as ProCore and TexturaAbility to develop realistic timelines for civil projectsSolid understanding of blueprint readingTime managementFamiliarity with construction management principles including safety protocols, quality control and site logisticsMust be able to pass a background check and drug screen. Must have a working knowledge of earthwork and underground utilities.
