Hospitality Team MemberOur Hospitality Team Member represents Every Home for Christ to the public in a hospitable and professional manner. The team receives and directs incoming calls and welcomes visitors. The team provides routine assistance as directed and assists visitors and staff with various needs.ResponsibilitiesMaintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Every Home for Christ.Adheres to the Biblical standards of moral conduct, Every Home for Christ Christian Community Conduct, Every Home for Christ vision statement, Every Home for Christ statement of faith, Every Home for Christ's Employee standards and policies, Every Home for Christ's Covenant of Harmony, and Enduring Foundations and continuously upholds the ministry in prayer.Participates in our Christ-centered community through working in the HQ office and actively demonstrate Every Home cultural values.Welcome guests to the Ministry and Prayer Center and provide information/scheduling of open prayer spaces.Provide and maintain a welcoming atmosphere to all external and internal individuals that is a representation of Every Home for Christ values; consistently following Every Home standards of service and excellence.Be able and willing to express and explain the ministry mission, purpose, appropriate activity to all external guestsBe knowledgeable of new information regarding Every Home marketing initiatives and general ministry info; ensuring all information provided to guests is accurate and in alignment with ministry external communication guidelinesAnswer phones and respond to email inquires; sending all incoming communication to the appropriate department or area of the ministry in a timely mannerAssist donors with specific customer service inquiries; when communicating with established or potential donors, the role will understand and be able to articulate the ministry's biblical theology of stewardship and generosityResponsible for following standard procedures for opening/closing the building.Maintain cleanliness of the Ministry and Prayer Center and staff areas throughout the day.Assist with event set up/tear down/oversight and service, as assigned by managerAssist with required security functions as well as audio/video functions as requested by managerAttend weekly team meetings and contribute accordinglyAssist with other tasks/projects as requestedQualificationsPassion for the mission of Every HomeHas an active and personal relationship with Jesus ChristAttends/participates in a local churchEducation: High school diplomaExperience: 1-3 years of reception/front desk/customer service or similar experienceServant's heart; serving all people with a joyful attitude and warm, genuine smileCustomer focused skills: friendly, patient, understanding, service oriented, humbleExcellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills – effective listening skills and attentivenessAbility to be adaptable and calm under stressful situationsMaintain a professional demeanor, appearance, and atmosphereWillingness to serve in various inter-departmental capacities as neededFlexibility in scheduleAbility to adapt to various situations/needsExcellent time management skills and organizational skillsHigh level of confidentialityStrong attention to detailHands-on experience with common office equipmentProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to learn new functions, technology, processes and willingness to grown/improveAll employees are expected to maintain the four primary convictions:EVERY – the gospel of Jesus is literally intended for all people, everywhere on earth (Matthew 28:19)UNITY – the participation of the whole church in unity is essential to reaching all people, everywhere on earth (John 17)PRAYER – reaching all people everywhere on earth requires our full reliance on God in prayer to remove the obstacles hindering ministry (Acts 4:31-33)Covenant of Harmony (Matthew 18:15-17)The position is open until filled.Compensation will depend on experience.This position is eligible for benefits: medical, dental, health savings account contributions, life/disability insurance, retirement contributions, paid holidays, paid time off, paid time to spend in prayer
