Travel Behavioral Health RN

Overview:

Position: Registered Nurse

Location: Reno, NV

Department: Behavioral Health / Psych

Shifts Available : 12 week-Per Diem - Days and Nights

Pay: up to $780.00- $900.00 per shift (base gross); equivalent to $65.00 – $75.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and emotional support
• Educate patients and families on conditions and care plans
• Conduct therapeutic groups and psychiatric interventions (including crisis care)
• Perform assessments, document histories, and monitor symptoms
• Assist with diagnostics, administer treatments, and operate medical equipment
• Support follow-up care, rehabilitation, and self-management education

 

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1. Must have current and valid State license as a Registered Nurse.
2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. Working knowledge of Mental Health Laws and practice standards.
4. Working knowledge of interdisciplinary treatment team process, behavioral health programming and daily nursing functions for inpatient and outpatient behavioral health units.
5. Minimum one (1) year of expeirience required.
