Sterile Process Technician

Job Title
Some essential functions of this position include:
- Process and sterilize all OR and departmental instrumentation.
- Clean and test all sterilizers on a daily basis.
- Create pre-packaged instruments for specific procedures.
- Set up case carts for OR cases.
We require a high school or equivalent graduate; a certified technician is preferred. Knowledge of hospital instruments is preferred.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE INFLUENZA VACCINATION IS MANDATED BY THE STATE OF MAINE. ONLY MEDICAL EXEMPTIONS ARE ACCEPTED UPON APPROVAL.
