Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers through email and phone calls in order to schedule appointments for customers to visit the store
• Respond to customer requests from the Internet lead system and gather information from the customer about the make, type, and quality of vehicle desired; trade-in details; customer's goals
• Build rapport with potential customers by employing strong communication and interpersonal tactics throughout their vehicle selection
• Receive customers in a welcoming and professional manner to drive car sales
• Arrange test drives, demos, and other presentations to showcase vehicle features and impress potential buyers professionally
• Adhere to dealership standards and policies of superb customer satisfaction throughout the sales and negotiation process
• Drive current and future auto sales by maintaining an accurate customer database

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to pass a background check and Drug test
• Customer service: 1 year (Required)

• A valid state-issued driver's license and acceptable driving record are required
• Preferred sales associate experience within an auto dealership setting
• Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent; bachelor's degree is considered a plus
• Exemplary interpersonal, negotiation, time management, and communication skills are essential for meeting customer needs
