Travel Speech and Language Pathologist in Jordan, NY

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 setting located in Jordan, NY. This position primarily serves elementary students, with some high school students included, offering a dynamic caseload of approximately 28 students each requiring individualized support. The role is travel-based, providing the experience of working within a vibrant Upstate New York community from September through June.


Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Deliver direct therapy services tailored to each student's unique needs.
• Collaborate with educators and school staff to implement appropriate accommodations and modifications.
• Monitor and track student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
• Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing to goal setting and educational planning.
• Provide guidance and support to parents and caregivers to foster student success.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills for working with educators and families.
• Knowledge of IEP processes and educational laws related to special education services.
