Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Class A Driver - Flatbed in Leander, TX! We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious driver to transport goods using flatbed trucks. Responsibilities- Safely operate a Class A flatbed truck to transport goods to various locations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and safety measures are in place.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to coordinate deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients and stakeholders.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving flatbed trucks.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks as required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
