This is a full-time position offering a range of benefits including tuition reimbursement, health insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan.As a PTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide advanced treatment and comprehensive care to individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas.ResponsibilitiesAssist with the implementation of the therapy plan of care under the direct supervision of a licensed PT.Delegate and direct supportive personnel for assigned patients to enhance patient care services.Communicate with supervising PT regarding scheduled patients to ensure assessment and reassessment, modification of treatment plans, and other interventions requiring therapist direction.Participate in the education of patients, families, students, coworkers, and self.Perform other professional duties associated with patient care within the scope of practice.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsCurrent state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant required.Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.Preferred candidate has one or more years of experience.PreferredNeuro or acute care experience
