We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our team and contribute to creating delicious and nutritious meals for our residents. Shift: 1pm -9pm Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals following established recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Coordinate food production with meal serving schedules.
- Memorize menu items, plate appearances, and portion specifications.
- Adhere to special dietary orders and standard recipes.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and food production codes.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one (1) year of dining services experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or similar setting preferred.
- Culinary school training is a plus.
- Must be 18 years or older.
