MSL/Senior MSL, Parkinson's Disease (Great Lakes)

Field-based scientific expert supporting AbbVie's Parkinson's disease initiatives across the Great Lakes region. The Medical Science Liaison serves as primary scientific communicator to healthcare professionals, building relationships with key opinion leaders and facilitating education on disease state and therapeutic options.

Responsibilities

• Develop mastery of scientific content, disease state, and therapeutic landscape to establish credibility as expert
• Identify and cultivate relationships with thought leaders, academic centers, and researchers in Parkinson's disease
• Present scientific information and education to physicians, academic institutions, and healthcare professionals
• Support research initiatives including site evaluation, investigator recruitment, and external collaboration management
• Serve as internal resource for developing medically accurate, balanced communications and regulatory-compliant materials

Requirements

• Advanced degree required: PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, or APP in relevant scientific discipline
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience for Senior MSL role
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other software applications
• Strong written and verbal communication with excellent presentation skills
• Ability to travel up to 75% within assigned territory
• HCIR credentialing eligibility including background check and immunization requirements
• Willingness to relocate to Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, or Western Pennsylvania
