Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Active South Carolina state license or multistate license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility or completed SNF clinical rotation preferred due to fast‑paced SNF demands. Experience treating short-term rehab (STR) and long‑term care (LTC) patient populations preferred. Ability to manage a mixed caseload in a 120‑bed skilled nursing environment with fluctuating needs. Schedule: Flexible; coverage expected five days per week to meet skilled patient needs. Caseload: Mixed SNF, short-term rehab (STR), and long‑term care (LTC) patients; priority given to STR patients when census dictates. Facility Capacity: 120 beds with fluctuating needs. Location Highlights Edgefield, SC sits within the Augusta, GA metro area and offers easy access to regional outdoor and cultural destinations. Edgefield is about 30 miles from downtown Augusta and a 1.5‑hour drive to Columbia, SC. The area is within reasonable driving distance of Sumter National Forest for hiking and Lake Thurmond for boating and fishing. Edgefield has a small‑town atmosphere with historic districts, local arts events, and access to larger‑city amenities in Augusta including the Savannah River waterfront and riverwalk. The area supports an outdoor‑oriented lifestyle with nearby trails, recreational boating, and opportunities for weekend trips to state parks and cultural sites in the Augusta metro region.
