CNC Machinist – Paducah Gear & Machine Co., LC
Location: Paducah, KY
Schedule: Day Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Paducah Gear & Machine Co., LC is an Industrial Repair Company with a full-capacity, climate-controlled machining facility. We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Machinist who can program, setup, and operate multiple machines , including but not limited to:
- CNC Lathes
- Milling Machines
- Water Jet Machines
- Vertical Turning Lathes (VTLs)
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Prior CNC machining experience
- Experience in a job shop or manufacturing environment
- Ability to perform machine setups and program modifications
- Strong blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation skills
- Experience with HAAS and Fanuc controls preferred
- Experience using AutoDesk Fusion, BOBCAD/CAM, or similar machining software
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and tolerances
- Reverse engineer sample parts and create drawings
- Create and edit CNC programs for machining operations
- Operate CNC equipment to produce precision components
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Work with team members to improve manufacturing efficiency
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
