Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active Kansas School Psychologist license is required
• Experience conducting school-based psychological assessments and re-evaluations, preferably at the high school level
• Strong understanding of educational law and special education processes
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective interventions
• Passion for empowering students to achieve academic, social, and emotional growth

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and oversee high school re-evaluations, responding to the district’s primary need
• Interpret assessment findings, write detailed reports, and participate in eligibility meetings
• Consult with staff, students, and families regarding learning and behavioral challenges
• Contribute expertise to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and implement intervention strategies
• Support a positive, inclusive learning environment while serving as an advocate for student well-being
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with legal guidelines
