Assistant General Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- At least 2 years of restaurant leadership experience
- Strong hospitality and guest-service mindset
- Ability to coach, train, and motivate a team
- Solid understanding of daily restaurant operations
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Team-focused leadership style with attention to culture and consistency
Assistant General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations
- Help lead the team to meet goals in service, quality, and cleanliness
- Ensure every guest receives friendly, professional service
- Assist with hiring, training, and developing staff
- Maintain compliance with company policies and standards
- Resolve guest concerns and day-to-day operational issues
- Track performance, reporting, and record-keeping
- Suggest ways to improve efficiency and workflow
- Foster strong teamwork and collaboration with leadership
