Principal EngineerBuild and enhance a portal for client commercial aviation customers.Must Haves:Java - Exception Handling, Collections Framework, Lambdas, ComparatorsSpring – Dependency Injection, JPA, TransactionsMicroservices – Spring Boot, Restful APIs, Security(Oauth)Databases – Experience in writing sql queries, Exposure to nosql db, CAP theoremTesting – Unit Testing, Mocking, Junits, TDD, BDD, Cucumber, GherkinDesign and Problem SolvingDevops – Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD PipelinesAgile ways of working / SAFE/Scrum methodology understandingTeam work – be able to work collaborativelyGeneral – Should be able to do technical design and development with no/minimal oversightCloud – AWS/Azure (AWS preferred but at least one)Nice To Have:Messaging – Either of these RabbitMQ/Kafka/SQS-SNS/EventhubOthers: +Swagger, +GraphQLLocation: Houston Texas or Miami, FL
