R&D Assistant, Germ Protection- Wipes

About the Role As an R&D Assistant you will support a team of scientists in ensuring product safety and efficacy. Your attention to detail will be crucial in managing technical dossiers and maintaining analytical laboratory compliance. Responsibilities Prepare various formulations in the laboratory and conduct performance evaluations (e.g. cleaning, fragrancing, lifespan, foaming) on formula applications. Conduct chemical and physical evaluations (e.g. titrations, viscosity, pH, stability, compatibility, phase behavior, surface tension) on various formula applications. Maintain MSDS files, chemical inventory and ensure the effective operation of laboratory equipment. Maintain detailed records of experiments performed and generate reports on results achieved. Coordinate product testing with Microbiology, Information Services, Sensory and Analytical groups as needed. Order laboratory supplies and chemicals. Experience and Qualifications High School diploma with at least five years of laboratory experience, or an Associate’s Degree in Science with one to two years of related experience in Personal Care and/or Surface Care. Knowledge of the Personal Care/Consumer Products market. Strong organizational, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Results‑oriented, self‑motivated, and able to seek information from others to accomplish objectives. Flexibility and adaptability to change. Ability to execute multiple project objectives within established timelines. Desire to learn, apply and enhance skills while seeking new opportunities. Networking and communication skills. Experience with GLP/GMP a plus. Proficiency with common software applications, including MS Office and related computer skills. This role is not currently sponsoring visas or considering international movement. USD $71,000.00 – $107,000.00
