SARASOTA OFFICE OF THE COUNTY ATTORNEY seeks an attorney to practice transactional and local government law in a collaborative and high-achieving environment. Minimum two years’ experience preferably working in local government or private practice handling contracts or business transactions. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills. Membership in The Florida Bar required. By County policy, only nonsmokers are eligible for hire. County employees fully support the community in the event of disaster or declared emergency. Equal Opportunity/Veteran’s Preference Employer.
