Occupational Therapist

Crouse is hiring an Occupational Therapist to work Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, including some weekends and holidays.

Pay Range: $34.95 - $57.05 / hour (based on experience)

Occupational Therapist Position Responsibilities:

• Practices occupational therapy as an occupational therapist in an acute care, medical center and also in varied outpatient settings.

• Works in accordance with the practice act for New York State, which includes the evaluation and treatment or the prevention of disability, injury and disease.

• Responsible for planning, supervising, and carrying out occupational therapy treatment programs.

• Actively participates in and supports department quality assurance programs, education and customer service programs.

• Works as part of the health care team across department lines and supervises aides and other staff and performs other duties as assigned.

Occupational Therapist Position Requirements:

• Current New York State Occupational Therapy license.

• Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at the time of hire or within 2 weeks after hire.

• Demonstrates a clear understanding of the practice act for New York State and Occupational Therapy.

• Demonstrates clear written and oral communications skills and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with other health care professionals, patients and caregivers.
