Outpatient Child/Adult Psychiatrist

Integrated Services of Kalamazoo is seeking an outpatient child/adult psychiatrist experienced in working with diverse populations for a community mental health agency. The role includes conducting psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and treatment, as well as emergency mental health evaluations to ensure patient safety. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, coordinating care with case managers and primary care providers, and promoting recovery-oriented, integrated care using evidence-based and emerging practices in their areas of specialization. Full-time/part-time available. Clinic is open Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. Prefer on-site but a hybrid schedule is available. 33 days of paid time off. Defined benefit pension plan. Eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. Requires M.D. or D.O. degree as well as 3 years clinical experience with children and/or adults with mental illness and substance abuse disorders. Computer skills, email necessary; experience with electronic medical record preferred. Required licenses: valid DEA, valid Michigan medical license. Recognized board certification/eligibility preferred.
