Job Description Job Summary: Provides diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging services by injecting radioisotopes and capturing images for physician interpretation. Ensures patient safety, proper procedure execution, and maintains confidentiality throughout all clinical activities. Responsibilities: Administer radioisotopes and perform imaging procedures following established protocols. Protect patient information and ensure confidentiality of all records and images. Verify physician orders accurately and clarify any ambiguities before proceeding. Reassess patient condition post-intervention and document findings comprehensively in the EHR. Educate patients and their families regarding procedures and address concerns with professionalism. Maintain equipment readiness, proper sterilization, and supply stock to ensure exam readiness. Qualifications: Hold an Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine, Radiology, or related field. Maintain certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB or ARRT). Be CPR certified and in good standing with relevant professional boards. Demonstrate proficiency in venipuncture and diagnostic nuclear imaging techniques. Exhibit strong knowledge of patient safety protocols and confidentiality standards. Possess excellent communication and documentation skills.
