Transmission Line Engineer

Supporting the growing Overhead Electric Transmission practice, the full-time hybrid California Licensed Transmission Line Engineer will manage routing, design, and execution of high voltage overhead transmission projects, utilizing specialized software and collaborating with construction teams. Key responsibilities Routing and designing transmission lines using the Power Line Systems software suite Conducting structure analysis, foundation design, and preparing job packages and project documentation Providing construction support and interacting directly with construction crews Required qualifications 3-5 years of progressive overhead transmission engineering experience Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program Experience in Civil/Structural Transmission Line disciplines, including Steel Pole and Foundation Design Working knowledge of Power Line Systems software suite (PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, TOWER) is a plus EIT certification; PE license is a plus
