Convenience Store Shift SupervisorThe Convenience Store Shift Supervisor is responsible for supervising employee performance and managing tasks in a practical and objective manner during an assigned shift. The Convenience Store Shift Supervisor maintains a safe and secure environment for all employees by following applicable policies and procedures. The Convenience Store Shift Supervisor reports directly to the Convenience Store Manager.Convenience Store Shift Supervisor duties will include, but are not limited to:Greet all customersComplete position based checklistAssist customers with needs and demonstrate concernMake sales transactions quickly and accuratelyCoach employees on suggestive selling techniquesMaintain stock and inventory using available tools and resourcesAccount for inventory during vendor check-insTreat customers and co-workers in a friendly, courteous mannerMaintain general appearance and cleanliness of store premisesPossess the ability to merchandise and keep recordsMaintain a safe and secure environment for all customers and associatesLead, train, motivate, and develop team membersCreate positive store culture by treating associates fair and with respectExperience/Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentOne (1) year of retail experiencePortray a positive attitude and great work habits at all timesSelf-motivated; dependableStrong customer service skillsLift up to 50 poundsStand for long periods of time, up to 10 hoursAble to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining 100% customer focusProblem solving skillsStrong mathematics skillsPreferred Skills:Cash handling experienceHours:The Convenience Store Shift Supervisor is a full time position and can work up to 40 hours per week. Hours are not guaranteed and it is a set schedule.Salary/Income:The Convenience Store Shift Supervisor is a non-exempt.
