As an Airport Security Officer: Full Time Patrol in Kailua Kona, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government airport location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to travelers, staff, and visitors. You will communicate professionally, report observations, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $25.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Requirements: 

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 1+ years of Airport Security Experience
• 21+ years of age

• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of airport terminals, parking areas, perimeter locations, access points, and other assigned areas, noting and reporting unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established airport and government location protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
