Job Summary

Join a dedicated team as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) at a Critical Access Hospital located in Kremmling, CO, approximately two hours west of Denver at an elevation of 7000 feet. This facility operates as a Trauma Level IV Emergency Department, providing essential care to a diverse patient population in a picturesque mountain setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care within the Emergency Department, encompassing assessment, planning, implementation, and coordination from admission through discharge. This role requires adherence to established clinical standards and protocols, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through the application of clinical pathways.

While primarily based in Kremmling, this position may require occasional coverage at satellite facilities in Granby and Fraser, CO, offering a dynamic and varied clinical experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and coordinate comprehensive patient care within the Emergency Department.
• Manage patient care from admission to discharge, ensuring continuity and quality of service.
• Utilize and adhere to accepted standards and protocols, including Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (or equivalent), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Drive the achievement of patient outcomes through the effective implementation of clinical pathways.
• Provide coverage in Emergency Departments at Granby and Fraser, CO, as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care effectively in an emergency setting.
• Commitment to disclosing all requests for time off during the interview process.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience in a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting.
• Experience working in a Trauma Level IV Emergency Department.

Shift Details
