Senior Project Manager

Snapshot / Role Overview
We're seeking a Senior Project Manager in Honolulu, Hawaii to lead commercial HVAC and plumbing projects from award through closeout and deliver exceptional results for clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial HVAC and plumbing projects ranging from one million to forty million dollars

• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation from start to finish

• Coordinate with owners, architects, general contractors, and subcontractors

• Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders

• Review and approve submittals, RFIs, and change orders

• Monitor project financials and implement corrective actions when needed

• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and quality standards

• Develop and mentor project engineers and assistant project managers

• Manage project closeout including punch lists, warranties, and final documentation

Requirements
Must-Haves

• 8+ years of commercial HVAC and plumbing project management experience

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent field experience)

• Proven track record managing projects in schools, high-rises, hotels, hospitals, and mixed-use facilities

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and construction methods

• Excellent communication and client relationship skills

• Proficiency with project management software and scheduling tools

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in the Honolulu or Hawaii construction market

• Prior field experience as a foreman or superintendent

• PMP certification or similar credentials

• OSHA 30 certification
