Assistant General Manager | West Michigan Lake Shore | $70K–$90K Help Lead One of West Michigan's Newest Upscale-Casual Dining Destinations We're seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven Assistant General Manager (AGM) to lead an extremely successful upscale-casual restaurant in one of West Michigan's most desirable resort communities near Lake Michigan. Featuring a vibrant dining room, expansive outdoor patio, seasonal tourism traffic, and a strong commitment to exceptional guest experiences, this restaurant is designed to become a premier gathering place for both locals and visitors. What You'll Do Help lead all day-to-day restaurant operations Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high‑performing management and hourly team Create an exceptional guest experience that drives loyalty and positive word-of-mouth Assist the GM in managing labor, food cost, beverage cost, and overall financial performance Establish and maintain service standards that reflect an upscale‑casual dining experience Assist in scheduling, inventory management, purchasing, and vendor relationships Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and liquor regulations Partner with ownership to execute business objectives and growth initiatives Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and hospitality excellence What We're Looking For 3+ years of Restaurant Manager experience Experience in upscale-casual, polished casual, or chef-driven restaurant concepts Proven success managing high-volume operations Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills Demonstrated ability to drive sales and profitability Experience hiring and developing management-level talent Good financial acumen with knowledge of P&L management Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences What We Offer Competitive salary of $70,000–$90,000 Performance-based bonus opportunity Leadership development and growth opportunities PTO Free financial planning Opportunity to help shape and grow a new restaurant concept Exceptional quality of life in a beautiful Lake Michigan resort community Compensation: $90,000 per year Apply now or send your resume for confidential consideration.
