Description:

  Smith Lawnscapes LLC, a family-oriented landscape construction and maintenance company, is seeking a dependable General Laborer to join our dedicated team.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare jobsites for landscape and construction projects
• Assist with patios, walkways, retaining walls, fences, decks & other projects
• Dig trenches, perform land clearing and prepare landscape areas
• Plant and maintain lawns and garden beds
• Load, unload and transport materials, tools and equipment
• Safely operate hand and power tools
• Perform basic daily equipment inspections, cleaning and maintenance
• Assist Crew Leaders with daily project needs
• Read and follow basic plans, measurements and project specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license
• Landscaping or construction experience is a plus
• Willing and able to learn new tools, equipment and skills
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor 
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions  
• Dependable with good communication and time-management skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Working Conditions:

Fast paced environment, outdoors in various conditions including heat, humidity, rain, dust, noise and cold.  Some weekends may be required.
