Product Manager

KP Aviation, an international supplier and procurer of aftermarket aviation components and assets, is searching for the next key member of our team! The Product Manager will be responsible for supporting, developing, and enhancing the Company’s core business systems, with primary responsibility for Salesforce development and ongoing support of AvSight. This position will work closely with business leaders, IT, and end users to understand operational needs, translate requirements into technical solutions, and improve system functionality and efficiency. The Product Manager will serve as a key technical resource for Salesforce while supporting the administration, optimization, integration, and continued development of AvSight and other business applications.

Your role will take you to new heights, as you will be tasked with these essential job responsibilities:

• Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, and maintain Salesforce solutions that support business processes and operational requirements.
• Manage Salesforce configuration, workflows, user access, permissions, objects, fields, reports, dashboards, automation, and other system functionality.
• Support the administration, configuration, maintenance, enhancement, and continued optimization of AvSight across applicable business functions.
• Support the ongoing management of Salesforce and AvSight by identifying system needs, evaluating enhancement requests, establishing priorities, and coordinating implementation.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business processes, gather requirements, identify system gaps, and translate operational needs into effective technical solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve functionality, automate manual processes, simplify workflows, and enhance the overall user experience across business applications.
• Support integrations between Salesforce, AvSight, and other business systems to improve data accuracy, accessibility, and operational efficiency.
• Investigate and resolve system issues, application errors, workflow problems, integration failures, and other technical concerns.
• Develop and execute testing plans for system configurations, enhancements, integrations, and releases before implementation into production environments.
• Support data integrity, system accuracy, data imports, exports, migrations, cleanup activities, and reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and system tools that provide meaningful information to leadership and business teams.
• Provide technical support and guidance to Salesforce and AvSight users and assist with resolving system related questions and issues.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, process maps, user guides, and training materials. Provide training to employees on new and existing functionality as needed.
• Coordinate with Salesforce, AvSight, consultants, vendors, and other external technology partners regarding system enhancements, technical issues, integrations, and projects.
• Support and manage technology projects from requirements gathering through testing, implementation, user adoption, and ongoing support.
• Support appropriate system access, permissions, security controls, and data protection practices in coordination with IT leadership.
• Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify opportunities for increased automation, efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
• Work closely with Sales, Product Line, Procurement, Finance, Operations, Technical, Supply Chain, and other departments to ensure technology solutions effectively support business requirements.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

• Knowledge of Salesforce architecture, configuration, development, administration, and security.
• Knowledge of Salesforce development tools and technologies, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, SOQL, APIs, and related development practices.
• Knowledge of CRM and enterprise business application environments.
• Knowledge of system integrations, APIs, data mapping, and application interfaces.
• Knowledge of software development, testing, deployment, and change management practices.
• Knowledge of relational data structures, data quality, and system reporting.
• Skill in translating business requirements into technical solutions and system enhancements.
• Skill in troubleshooting complex application, integration, workflow, and data issues.
• Skill in developing Salesforce applications, automation, workflows, reports, and dashboards.
• Skill in managing multiple projects, system enhancements, and competing business priorities.
• Skill in communicating technical concepts clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Ability to understand business processes and identify opportunities for automation and system improvement.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external technology partners.
• Ability to manage confidential and sensitive company information appropriately.
• Ability to learn and support aviation specific business systems, including AvSight.

Education, Experience, and Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Salesforce development, administration, or implementation.
• Hands on experience developing and configuring Salesforce solutions required.
• Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, SOQL, APIs, and Salesforce integrations preferred.
• Experience supporting ERP, CRM, inventory management, or aviation business systems preferred.
• Experience with AvSight or aviation aftermarket software preferred.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions preferred.
• Experience supporting system implementations, integrations, upgrades, and enhancement projects preferred.
• Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer, or related Salesforce certification preferred.
