Key Responsibilities of the RN - OR- Operating Room

• Assist in various specialty surgeries, including ortho-total joint, trauma, neuro, GYN/urology, vascular, and thoracic
• Demonstrate competency in placing IVs and phlebotomy
• Operate and manage surgical equipment effectively
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control procedures
• Participate in code response and emergency procedures when required

Requirements for the RN - OR- Operating Room

• Current NY State RN license
• BLS certification
• Three years of relevant OR experience
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred
• Competency in a wide range of surgical procedures as described
