About the Position

Job Title: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: 2 Years of Experience Required License: South Carolina License or Compact License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Required Must-Have: Med-Surg Experience Required Telemetry Experience Preferred Interpretation of Dysrhythmias Experience Preferred Description: This position is for a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse. The shift is nights, 4x12-hour shifts. The nurse-to-patient ratio is between 1:6 to 1:7. Every other weekend availability is required. Floating to like units with similar patients is required. The candidate must have two years of travel experience. First-time travelers will not be accepted. All assigned modules must be completed prior to starting the position. Attendance at staff meetings is mandatory. Local candidates will be considered but are subject to specific rules. All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application. There is a call-out policy in place. Travelers should be aware of potential assignments to emergency response teams during hurricane season. Completion of all compliance requirements is necessary before starting the position.
