Benefits Employee discounts Flexible schedule Training & development Enhanced Direct Support Professional / CPS Staff Part-Time with Potential for Full-Time Hours $25.00 An Hour Youth Enrichment Project is seeking reliable, patient, and compassionate Direct Support Professionals for an enhanced Community Participation Support position. This role provides 2:1 support for a non-verbal individual with higher behavioral support needs who benefits from structure, consistency, patient, and calm redirection. Staff in this position must be able to follow the individual’s support plan, use de-escalation strategies, maintain safety, and provide respectful, person-centered support in the community. This position is best suited for individuals who are confident, dependable, and able to remain calm during challenging situations. Responsibilities include Provide direct 2:1 support during Community Participation Support activities Support a non-verbal individual with communication, engagement, and community participation Follow the individual’s ISP, behavior support strategies, and safety plan Use calm redirection and de-escalation techniques when needed Work closely with a second staff member to ensure consistency and safety Assist with community outings and meaningful activities Document services accurately and professionally Communicate concerns, incidents, or changes to supervisors in a timely manner Promote dignity, respect, independence, and positive community involvement Ideal candidates will have Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, behavioral support needs, or complex needs The ability to remain calm, patient, and professional during challenging situations Strong boundaries and good judgment Dependability and willingness to follow support plans consistently Comfort working as part of a 2-person support team Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred Male applicants are encouraged to apply based on the individual’s current support needs and staffing structure.
