Travel RN - Telemetry (Night Shift)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Neuro Trauma Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of approximately 1:6
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Perform and assist with unit procedures including bubble studies and EEG monitoring
• Operate unit equipment including Kangaroo Pumps and document care using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Patient Care Techs and Unit Clerks to ensure quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Kansas (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of experience; at least 1 year of current acute care hospital telemetry experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Experience in a Neuro or Trauma telemetry setting
• Positive, engaged attitude with flexibility to adapt to unit needs
