Position Overview Project Manager is a crucial role responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing projects from initiation to completion. This role involves coordinating cross‑functional teams, managing resources, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget while meeting the defined objectives and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Project Planning and Initiation: Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, budgets, and expenditures; collaborate with the Business Development team to define scope, objectives, and deliverables; create project charters; identify and manage third‑party vendors as needed. Team Work: Assemble project teams, assign roles and responsibilities, and establish clear lines of communication; coordinate members to foster a collaborative, results‑oriented environment. Quality Assurance: Establish and monitor quality standards; ensure deliverables meet or exceed benchmarks; develop and track key performance indicators. Risk Management: Identify and assess risks; develop mitigation plans; monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle. Communication and Reporting: Maintain open and transparent communication with stakeholders; provide regular progress updates and prepare progress reports; coordinate on‑site project activities. Change Management: Identify and evaluate changes to scope, schedule, or budget; implement change‑control procedures and secure proper documentation and approvals. Project Closure: Facilitate all closure activities including final inspections, client acceptance, and lessons‑learned documentation. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, engineering, project management). Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is an asset. Proven project management experience, preferably in the lighting or construction industry or with knowledge of non‑destructive testing (NDT). Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. Commitment to delivering high‑quality results. FLSA Status: Exempt Pay Range: $65k – $80k Reports to: Director, Project Management Travel Requirements Minimal travel is required for this role (up to 15%). Physical Requirements Good overall health to manage long hours, especially during critical project phases. Ability to work extended hours, including evenings or weekends, as needed. Capability to move around office or project site, which may involve walking or standing for extended periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying light to moderately heavy materials.
