Summary: Serves as a member of the Cardiology Team engaging in the conduct and performance of Cardiac Ultrasound/Doppler diagnostic testing. Assists the physician and other related healthcare professionals in these technical areas and is responsible for all aspects of clinical support. Functions independently with minimal supervision.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Required education: Technical specialize in cardiovascular technology/ sonography/ ultrasound field.
- Education: Essential: * Education Information in Comments Education equivalent experience: Essential: * Required - Technical - Reference summary for details; Preferred - Associates - Science
- Credentials: Essential: * Credential Requirements in Comments Credential equivalent experience: Essential: * Required - BLS (Basic Life Support); Required - RDCS (Sonography) - within 1 year; Or - RCS (Sonography) - within 1 year
- Experience: Nonessential: * Echocardiology
