- Craft Personalized Treatment Approaches: Assess patient needs and design individualized therapy plans that facilitate the achievement of their functional objectives.
- Implement Effective Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to advance patients' physical abilities, cognitive function, and engagement in day-to-day activities.
- Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide holistic and comprehensive patient care.
- Guide Patients and Their Families: Educate both patients and caregivers on therapeutic strategies to promote ongoing progress in a home setting.
- Monitor and Record Patient Progress: Track therapeutic outcomes and make adjustments to treatment plans in response to patients' evolving needs.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Continuing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported.
- Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
- A keen passion for aiding others and a strong desire to help individuals attain their highest potential.
- Effective, empathetic communication skills for engaging with patients and colleagues.
