As a key member of the Risk Management department supporting the Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM) program, you will design and execute comprehensive risk assessments to meet regulatory standards and internal governance. Job Title: Financial Crimes Risk Assessment Lead Location: Charlotte, NC Responsibilities Lead and enhance Wells Fargo’s Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM) program through the design and execution of enterprise-wide and targeted risk assessments (TRAs). Drive strategic alignment of TRA methodology with the Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment (EWRA), ensuring scalability, flexibility, and continuous improvement. Oversee the development of risk assessment inputs, validation processes, evidence repositories, scoring, heat maps, and reporting templates. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality, timely reports that support enterprise strategic objectives and regulatory compliance. Support knowledge transfer activities and transition responsibilities to the permanent team, ensuring sustainability of risk assessment processes. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Fraud, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery, or Corruption roles, demonstrated through work experience, training, or education. Deep understanding of AML, Sanctions, and Anti-Bribery and Corruption risk assessments and controls. Experience in Financial Crimes Risk Management, including regulatory expectations and controls for new products and business initiatives. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into actionable plans. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to influence stakeholders and support organizational change initiatives. What’s in it for me?
