Location & Shift Full Time Shift: Day (United States of America) Address: 5101 WILLOW SPRINGS RD, LA GRANGE, IL 60525 Job Description Assess patient conditions and needs through comprehensive evaluations to develop individualized care plans. Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring comprehensive and continuous care. Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to prescribed protocols. Monitor and evaluate patient progress continuously, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Document patient care activities meticulously to maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medical records. Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and post‑discharge care to promote understanding and compliance. Advocate for patient safety by identifying potential risks and implementing preventive measures. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and effective patient care. Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols to prevent infection and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Perform therapeutic and diagnostic interventions such as IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections. Provide emotional and physical support to patients and their families during recovery. Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care quality, safety, and efficiency. Perform other duties as assigned. Sign‑On Bonus and Salary Up to $5,000 sign‑on bonus for RNs with 1+ years of Operating Room experience. Eligible clinicians can earn salary increases of up to 20% through our Clinical Ladder Program. Required Works independently, self‑motivated, takes direction from physician and management to complete assignments. Required Maintain safe knowledge of equipment, procedures, supplies, computer, IV pumps, NOVA Glucose monitor, I‑STAT, Immediate use sterilization policy and procedures. Required Must be proficient in English. Required Ability to communicate effectively. Required EMR charting proficiency. Preferred Computer literate. Preferred Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems knowledge. Required Knowledge of care that addresses the physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and age‑appropriate needs of the patient population served within the department. Required Organizational skills. Required Verbal interpersonal skills. Required Customer relations abilities. Required Grammar and spelling proficiency. Required Ability to read and comprehend written instructions. Required Ability to follow verbal instructions. Required Keyboarding (manual) skills. Required Ability to use computer (visual). Preferred Nursing skills and knowledge specific to specialty. Education Required Associate’s Degree in Nursing. Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Work Experience Required 1+ year medical‑surgical experience. Preferred 1+ year surgery experience. Licenses and Certifications Required Basic Life Support – CPR Certificate (BLS). Required Registered Nurse (RN) license. Preferred Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS). Preferred Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR). Preferred Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Preferred ATD Master Instructional Designer Certified (ATD).
