Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, providing essential support in a dynamic school environment. This position offers up to 37.5 hours each week, starting as soon as possible and extending through November 11th, 2026, with a primary schedule of 30 hours per week.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active North Carolina SLP License required
- SLP-CCC certification strongly preferred
- Experience working in school-based settings supporting students’ speech and language needs
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with staff, families, and students
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners and adapting to various student needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language pathology services to students, focusing on assessment, intervention, and prevention
- Conduct thorough evaluations and create individualized plans compatible with each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate regularly with educational teams to support student progress and contribute to positive outcomes
- Document all services and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines, as well as district standards
- Engage with families and school staff to foster a collaborative, student-centered environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer professional expertise for speech and language development
