Operating Room Assistant

Description We are hiring for Associate Operating Room Assistant position at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK! Position is Full Time, 1.0 FTE, Variable Shift, 40 hours per week. Assists with general support of the professional staff in the operating suites. Activities focus on maintaining a safe, hazard free, clean environment that facilitates patient focused care. OR Assistants handle equipment and supplies, clean and decontaminate Operating Rooms and equipment, and operate and perform routine maintenance on a variety of technical equipment, and restock supplies. Required qualifications: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire Preferred qualifications: Certified Nursing Assistant upon hire 1 year of Hospital experience. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
