Surgical Technologist Evenings - Sign-On Bonus $10,000

As a Surgical Technologist, your top priority is to facilitate safe, sterile surgical procedures. You act as the watchdog in the operating room, ensuring a sterile environment and preparing the surgical field to meet the surgeon’s needs. Responsibilities Assist the circulating nurse with patient positioning, operative site preparation, specimen care, and room turnover. Establish and maintain an organized sterile field. Use proper sterilization methods for instruments prior to procedures. Identify and correct unsafe aseptic practices or breaches. Prepare the operating room with sterile supplies, instruments, and sutures. Follow policies for scrubbing, gowning, gloving, draping, and counting with the circulating nurse. Serve as the first scrub on basic surgical cases. Anticipate the surgeon’s needs and assist by retracting tissue, holding instruments, and cutting sutures. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification. Previous experience as a Surgical Technologist. Experience in Ophthalmology, Neuro/Spine, or Robotics surgery is a plus. Sign‑on bonus available.
