Oncology - Radiation Physician

Opportunity: DO;MD - Radiation Oncology Job Details: Coverage needed for 2 weeks in June and full-time July through October Must have an active Illinois license Responsible for patient evaluation, simulation and dosimetry treatment planning Prescription for radiation therapy and weekly assessments of patients under treatment Post-treatment patient follow-up and checking daily images for verification of alignment and treatment accuracy Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no call, holidays, or weekends Manage 25-30 patients under treatment per day Handle external beam treatments, OTVs, and follow-ups Provide on-site supervision for compliance, checking SRS procedures, on-treatment visits, follow-up and consultations Facility: This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility that provides advanced radiation oncology services to the community.
