Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and principles of primary nursing
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes
Utilize electronic health records (EPIC) for documentation and care planning
Provide compassionate care to long-term care residents in accordance with facility policies

Qualifications

Active Alaska RN license
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum of 1 year Long-Term Care experience
BSN preferred

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in PC usage and clinical software
Familiarity with EPIC charting system
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
