Systems/Business Analyst III

Job Duties

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Systems/Business Analyst III for a contract position with a Large Energy Company located in Minneapolis, MN. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

Pay range: $72.50 - $82.50 per hour

This role is focused on SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 tools, including the Power Platform. The position combines solution design, user enablement, and operational support, acting as a product specialist to translate business needs into scalable solutions in a highly collaborative environment supporting enterprise-wide business users.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver SharePoint Online solutions (site structure, permissions, metadata)

• Translate business requirements into scalable solutions

• Provide user support via ServiceNow, Teams, and intake systems

• Develop training materials and job aids

• Support governance, compliance, and enterprise content management (ECMS)

• Assist with migrations and modernization initiatives

• Promote adoption of SharePoint and M365 tools

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and backlog prioritization using JIRA

• Coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and an International Consulting Firm support team

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365

• Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) familiarity

• Experience with solution design and requirements gathering

• Experience with Agile methodology and JIRA

• Strong troubleshooting and user support skills

• Ability to train and enable business users

• Strong understanding of permissions models and content organization

• Strong communication and ability to translate technical concepts

• Relationship management and customer service mindset

• Creative problem solving and critical thinking

• Change management mindset with the ability to drive adoption

• Strong follow-up and accountability

Desired skills:

• Microsoft Purview experience (compliance, records, retention)

• SharePoint migration experience (e.g., ShareGate)

• DataBricks exposure

• Experience in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, utilities)
