Operating Room Registered Nurse - Day Shift Opportunity Job Description: - **Position**: Operating Room Registered Nurse - **Shift**: Day, 4x10-Hour (10:30 - 21:00) - **Call Requirement**: Yes (1-2 shifts every 6 weeks) - **Experience**: Minimum 1.5 years in OR - **Travel Experience**: Preferred **Key Responsibilities**: - Provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic operating room environment - Collaborate with a skilled multidisciplinary team - Engage in a variety of surgical procedures across multiple specialties **Required Skills**: - Experience in: - Orthopedic Surgery - General Surgery - Neurosurgery - Vascular Surgery - Urology **Preferred Skills**: - Experience with: - Davinci Robots - Endovascular procedures - Ophthalmic surgeries (Cataract extraction, Eye trauma, Glaucoma surgery) **Work Environment**: - General OR with: - 14 rooms and 14 beds - Daily census of 45 patients - Patient Ratios: - Days/Nights/Weekends: 1:1 - Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics **Scheduling Details**: - Rotating day off with minimal call requirements - Pre-approved time off: Up to 2 requests **Note**: - Candidates residing in specific counties in Texas may not be contracted.
