Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 - 15:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 1+ years License: Required to work as an RN in WV Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have Skills/Experience: Experience as a circulating nurse in the following specialties: General, GYN, Vascular, Client, Urology, Podiatry, DaVinci Robot Description: This facility provides care to 13,000 patients each year. It treats more than 50,000 patients in its emergency room. The facility is accredited by the Joint Commission, a nationally recognized accrediting agency for healthcare facilities. Surgical services offered include: Da Vinci Robotic Surgery, Spine, Orthopaedic, Vascular, Thoracic, Interventional Pain Management, Interventional Cardiology, Gynecological, General, Oral, Urological, Eye, and Trauma/Emergency Services. The unit has 7 operating room beds with a patient ratio of 1:1. Electronic Health Records system used is Meditech. The position reports to the Director of Surgical Services or the Assistant Director of Surgical Services. This role serves a diverse patient population, including all ages. There may be a requirement for call coverage, including 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month. Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience as an OR scrub/circulator is beneficial. The dress code consists of scrubs supplied by the facility. Casual wear and other facility-branded attire are not acceptable.
