Field Reimbursement Manager - New Orleans, LA

Responsibilities Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with Patient Services Program Partners, Field Sales, and Healthcare Providers to support patient access Educate HCPs on prior authorization, appeals, and/or denials to support the patient journey Review patient-specific information when requested to resolve site issues or coverage challenges Identify, anticipate, and address patient/HCP access barriers with internal and external stakeholders; implement updates to address barriers Use HUB and specialty pharmacy partners to remove patient access barriers Monitor patient start trends in assigned geographies/plans and proactively address/mitigate challenges with Field Sales and Patient Services partners Maintain knowledge of market dynamics for payors/prescribers and of HUB/specialty distribution channels Serve as subject matter expert on access and affordability solutions across payer types/plans (Medicare, Medicaid Managed Care, Commercial) Adapt to the changing healthcare ecosystem by customizing resourcing and messaging to HCPs and staff Qualifications B.A./B.S. plus 6–9 years in field reimbursement, patient services, market access, or related pharma/biotech functions (or equivalent) 3–5 years as a field reimbursement manager in public/private field reimbursement or access services and/or healthcare operations (or equivalent) Extensive knowledge of medication access channels (preferred) Strong knowledge of specialty pharmacy and health insurance/benefits; expert understanding of eligibility, benefit verification, prior authorization, reimbursement coverage, appeals, and financial/co-pay/free-product programs Knowledge of HCP office processes (patient flow, prescription flow, clinic operations); GI product/provider experience preferred Strong customer, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to influence cross-functionally Ability to evaluate data, identify trends/barriers, and translate into actionable steps Benefits (as stated) 401(k) with employer match 12 weeks paid parental leave up to 12 weeks living organ/bone marrow leave equity incentive plans medical/prescription/dental/vision life insurance and disability flexible time off annual Winter Holiday shut down at least 11 paid holidays Work Environment Reports to Associate Director/Director, Field Access and Reimbursement; up to 75% travel #J-18808-Ljbffr Scorpion Therapeutics
